Postby scaris » Sat Feb 27, 2010 4:45 am

Hello! I´m 100% new to this game creator or anything like this (so be nice)...expect ages ago when i toy´d with Shoot'Em-Up Construction Kit on C64.

When i try to "import" an photoshop drawing of say like the main character as an actor it becomes transparant and destroyed, i cant se anywhere info why or how i should do it.

Next thing i wonder how in photoshop you do an actor animation?

I´m thankfull for your answers.
I have soo much i want to do game wise....

Make sure that the first pixel of the graphics(in the upper left corner) is in another color than the players color(s), or it's the Alpha Channel of the graphics(the part where it's transparent all the time). If it's the same color of the player, then change it(e.g move it one pixel to the left and then one pixel down using Paint or something).
About making animations in Photoshop, make it like this:
Image
This sprite have 18 horizontal frames.
That's all I can tell you now.
