Yeah its very different to COD though... I prefer it because it requires more skill IMO. (talking about the real Urban Terror not this) :D I also like it cuz Im pretty damn good at it... I can beat alot of the famously good players. :)

Schnellboot did you try pressing n lots of times? It only happens sometimes.

Also can other people test and confirm or deny this issue? (player falls through floor if switching firemode "n")

I think it's because your throw-mode sprites are not the same resolution as the other sprites
your other sprites are 100 height but the new one has 110 height
means : if you change from 100 height to 110 height the player is "in" the ground and falls down

Yes this is the problem but if I make him smaller in height it will shrink the man and make him look tiny. This is because... him holding the knife in the air makes the image taller. If I reduce the image size then the man is made small and looks stupid. :D

Anyone have ideas to sort this? :?

collision on any side of floor physical response?

collision with floor player.y = floor.y?
collision with bottom side of floor player.y = floor.y?
thats what i can think of at the moment

i opened the source trying to see the problem and i found it Player >collision> topside of ground
repeat event = no
switch it to yes and you wont fall through the floor anyomore

Thanks for finding that out Imperialjester! Never would have found that on my own. :D I think that will allow me to fix another problem with the player "bouncing" too! Sweet!! :)

Schnellboot if you could upload for the changed sprite that would be great! I suck at the graphics part of game making except im not too bad designing items. :D

Does anyone here think they could make a better player sprite? I will never be able to make anything other than a block/stick man. :D

Rules:
Please make it with a vector graphics editor and save in a .svg so it can be reused for other new pics.
Try to make it in the style of an urban terror soldier. //find pics here to see what they look like: http://www.urbanterror.info/news/home/
Make it the same size or similar size to the existing player sprite.
