Old Game Does Not Export

Hi Everyone
Long time since I have been on here, 2006 the last time I was posting.
I have downloaded the latest version of Game Editor and have tried to compile my old game.
It will run perfectly in game mode in the editor, but when I compile it and try to open the game it just shows a black screen for about 5 seconds, then a blank white screen.
I have a feeling it has something to do with the initial splash screen with the Game Editor Logo.
I have no problems with Game Editor when I make a game from new, since it runs ok when compiled showing the initial game editor logo.
The old game ged files were made i think using version 1.38 in 2006
Any ideas would be welcome

I have load and exported old game without problem.
Make sure export all .dat files too.

If not works, can you send me the game with the problem?

I get the same problem, with only one game.

It starts off with black screen, but never loads the ge logo or the ge icon. It freezes with 0% cpu and 5,564k memory loaded. Then it turns white.

The first time i played the exe, it ran fine. Then it did that every time after that - even though it was the same exe. Future exports of that file resulted in the same thing.

This only happens in XP - the same file runs fine in Ubuntu. Other game exe's work fine in both.

All games tested were originally made with older ge, then exported from new ge, just like glogamer's.

I have tested the game gloggamer send to me.
I can export and run it on Windows 7.

DST, can you send a game with this problem?
About the exe runs at first time and not run anymore make no sense to me.

I have windows xp and have now tried running the game in safe mode, and it runs perfectly.
Maybe it has something to do with my settings on my windows xp
I have tried to turn off the anti virus, and tried other screen resolutions to try and solve the problem but with no luck.
I will keep trying and if I find a solution I will let you know, for now I can switch to safe mode if I need to open the game

I can see the error now, but only in XP machines when old games are exported (this make no sense!).

You solve a bug and other happens!

The problem is I have stopped use DirectX on windows due the keyboard bugs (not type the = key on some machines).
Now, the engine stops when try to restart the audio system....

Need to see how to solve this...

Please, download Game Editor again.

I have downloaded the new Game Editor and everything now is working - games load every time
