Thank you Bee Ant!
I appreciate it!
I'm still trying to improve my background graphics. They look sloppy from a distance. :P

Sorry, not yet. But hey, I'm working on it as we speak! ^-^

The base system is almost ready (for the player input I mean). There are a lot of loopholes yet, I'll stitch up what I can do for now, and hopefully (if homework doesn't get in the way :P ) get the base system ready to test within a week or two. (Then Jimmy play.)
I will post a *very* short demo, for public testing, but as I get deeper into level design and I get working on some other dynamic features, I will have the private beta held as well.

Kinda in reverse, I guess, but that probably won't matter. Private and public testing will probably start simultaneously.

Hey, that's a good idea. One of the tribal hunters could carry one. :)

Thank you, I am going to add a lot of humor to it. I'm glad you find interest in it.

Currently I'm thinking about doing some level design, so I can at least have something presentable, to show what I've done so far.

I'm spending WAY to much time on this project. I need to work faster...
but not to fast, lest it get sloppy. :)

Keep up your progression on the game. I would love to play the demo once it comes out. The graphics look stupendous, and I would like to see a game with humor as it is always a great thing to have in a game. Just want to show my support for this.

And if I could add my idea for a weapon found in a jungle:

Banana Peel- Picked up (Possibly can eat the Banana for health :D ) from jungle floor, and able to throw or place to trip enemies?

If I think of any ideas that may help out the game, I will post them :)

Right now, I'm using lmms for windows. I'm not too good at it though, so I might have to think of something else in that area. (For this particular game anyway.)

Hey, I appreciate it a lot. I defiantly will keep up the progress. That banana peel idea sounds interesting, like for use as a health power-up and a weapon! I will find a way to implement that.
Thanks for the input!

Oh wow, It has been too long

I've been uber busy with all sorts of things lately. Sorry for the looong silence. It's been ages since I picked up the old ge, and in effect, Pithman. Progress was going at a snail's pace, so I decided to take a break late April. It's by no means cancelled though. I've already been working on this for about a year now, so I by no means want to see this go to vaporware.

One thing I will do once I get back going, is flesh out my design document a little more as it wasn't quite as well thought out as I liked. That will also get myself familiar with it all again. Then I'll try to figure out a more efficient way of making my graphics. Right at the moment, I've got them all hand drawn and hand textured, which takes a killer amount of time to do. I also planned for a lot of animations, which I underestimated the time needed for that as well (or maybe the time spent procrastinating ) The overall script is pretty much playable though. Still missing some AI, bit it's getting there.

And I'll also keep you guys posted on this, either through this thread, my site, or (if I get around to it) a blog or vlog of some kind. The progress will probably still be slow, but when I do update, you guys will know about it. I do appreciate the the very motivational people here. It's not something you always find in internet land!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand....... Here's a screencap of the most current build!

So good to be back anyways! I have been playing around with other stuff in my free time while I've been gone, most of them either blender related, or other animation/drawing/synfig practice.

My friend and I also hope to get a 3D game built (no, not stereoscopic 3D haha) which, would make use of blender modeling. I think I've been becoming a blendernerd over the past few months
