is there a way to make a .gif background trasparent in GE

hey I have been making these StickMan Animations that can only have white backgrounds, this Question is mainly for makslane, how could I make the background show up as transparent in GE?

From documentation:
"If your image is a gif, Game Editor will consider the gif transparent color."

So, you need to set the transparent color in some image editor.

but the background is white and shows up as white and it is in .gif :(

Is the background maybe not solid white? It could be various nearly white shades

I still use the method of putting the "transparent colour in the top left corner pixel.

But with gifs, Game Editor will consider transparent the transparent color set in the gif file.

its because Pivot only set the firts frame BG transparent

using the prgram ive told you to use, go to http://www.aha-soft.com then downlaod icon lover, open up your gift, then after, go on the other frames and put whatever needs to be transparent TRANSPARENT!

:( I am bout' ready to trash that program, once i set it as transparent it is a still image.... any way to keep it as an animation? and how would i set a cursor I made as my cursor for my computer?

Trash what program?

And to set it as your window cursor, go on control panel, then on mouse, then there should be someplace that you can select your cursors, i think its at the tab cursor
