Run Game Icon

I would like to know if it is possible (and how) to change the icon of the game for example some image instead of that typical pac-man figure that runs ge.

i tried before i don't think you can, what i used to do is put the game into a massive GE folder and i'd have shortcuts on my desktop
you can change the icon of shortcuts by right-clicking them and going to properties, under the shortcut tab theres a button at the bottom that says
"change icon..."

As a matter of fact you *can* change the game icon.

Config -> game properties ->
then there is this properties window:
choose an icon file (file type .ico)

that

it will only show the icon in the exported version.

right.......................the exported icon...............forgot about that
i don't export that many games so i forgot about that
i do make alot of games though, but i've only exported a few.............a few years ago......

ok here is how you do it
1. go to paint make i an icon of your liking, and save it as "myicon.ico"
2. make it the icon file in GE
3. export the game.

Use "Any To Icon" converter...

You can also use MS Paint(paint) and save the icon file as a PNG, just put .ico after the icon name
EXAMPLE:
FILENAME: myicon.ico
FILE TYPE: .png

Use "Any To Icon" converter...

It WILL work. I used it myself with MS Paint

you can also just use paint and save it as a 256 colour bitmap
