3D demo!

Postby pyrometal » Sat Apr 05, 2008 8:18 pm

Hey guys! There seems to be a 3D craze going around the forum lately, so I decided to try a little something myself. This is a total of 4-5 hours of work. The maze is a looped matrix, so there are no actual ways out of the maze. Enjoy! (arrow keys to move)

ok, to protect my own code, I will not look at this demo, ok with you?
I mean, I wanna keep my own ideas and don't want to copy any code that wasn't my own.

That's fine with me. I just posted this for people who might have been searching for a method to mimic 3D with 2D tools. It's always better to figure things out alone though, since you always learn a lot more from it. Good luck!

I'm only doing this because I'm taking a break from Gelman a little while. I plan on posting some other demos soon too, for people to refer to them if needed.

lol, I know, but this is fake 3D, so I would need tons of animations, and I really didn't feel like making so many...
