in the script reference, there is a list of constants that can go in the key array. are those in order by value, and is the starting value 0?

I think they're in order, but I'm pretty sure they don't start on zero, but I could be mistaken. One thing you could to is use sprintf() on a text actor like this:

sprintf(text, "BACKSPACE: %i\nTAB: %i", KEY_BACKSPACE, KEY_TAB);
