Free sound effect library

Found this gem the other day: 13,000 sounds free for download and use. All sounds were generated by the owner of this website; they are all free (and royalty free) for any (project) use. (you cannot redistribute your own sound packs using these, of course, but you can use them in your games all day long).

The guy is a pro; for instance, his explosions are based on the explosive and the materials present. To him it is of extreme importance what an explosion is blowing up (wood, glass, metal, stone) in addition to the type of explosive used.

in any case, there is a library frontend on the site which you can use to preview and download sounds. This is probably the only (natural) sound effect library you'll ever need.
