I heard if you get enough points, You can get GE Pro for free. I only heard that so I can't say its actually true.
Here is a deal, if you give me a point, i give you a point, alright? I coudl actually waste my saving on GE if I wanted a
quick solution to game making. 99.95 may be reasonable to you BUT WE HAVE A TERRIBLY ECONOMY, and makslane dosen't even care,
GE is all about makslanes pockets. THE RICH FOLKS CAN ONLY BUY THAT!

Yeah, most of the senior members agree and attest to getting a free copy after getting 30 points, the catch is you actually have to get the 30 points by getting them. The point system, which I'm sure you know, is to show your appreciation, and also to signify that you helped someone. If you have helped a lot of people in the community, you will be respected as such, and other members know that you can help. I don't think you can cheat the system, otherwise there would be no reason for having the point system, and no point in selling gameEditor. It can easily be checked how legitimately you got your points. Anyway, if you keep at it, you can get the 30 points, and by that time you might have a game you consider selling. The free version combined with this point offer can be very helpful, because by the time you get the points, you would be very knowledgeable in game making.

Ya, look at me. I wasn't very good in my first attempt at GE and quit. Several month's later i saw the icon still in my start menu and said, "why not?". So i've only been using GE recently for about 2 months. I had 3 points before, and now 21 points. All i did was practice. Most of the stuff people have problems with is something i have run into just messing around. So i was able to help. The point is practice, and don't try to beat the system, i won't work. I still don't know who gave me my points, or why they did it but hey, I'm not complaining It's VERY generous of Makslane to offer the "30 point system". But think about it. What would the forums be without the people who help? Makslane would be trying to answer 47584478482745 questions, and that wouldn't work out, would it?

well, my opinion is that if you want points, start helping people around the forum. an example is helping people with code problems or testing games and helping fix glitches.

for all you know 2 people joined right after eachother, with the same username, with the newest one simply with a 2 tacked on the end, and the first guy stopped using his account as soon as the newer one was created!
