GE Compiler

Ideas for Game Editor evolution.

GE Compiler

Say Makslane, could you add a compiler to the standard edition of Game Editor?

Maybe you could add extra special features to the Professional Edition of GE that you can't get in the standard version.
It would also be a good idea to make the Professional Edition more
affordable -- maybe 20 to 30 dollars instead of 50.

Anyway, GE is only at version 1.1 -- Game Editor has only been around for about a year. Your editor should probably gain popularity first.

By the way, your editor is pretty good, for only being around for a year.
Keep up the good work on making such a fine editor!

My opinion on this idea is that adding a free compiler option will keep people from paying for the pro version. While I don't own the pro version (I'm rotten at scripting), I really respect what Makslene has done with Game Editor. I also like the fact that he allows bad programmers like me to tinker with the program forever, if need be, to try to figure things out. Even as bad as I am, if he ever gets inking support for the tablet PC and a good manual, I'll buy the program in order to support its continued development.

Just another 2 cents (USA) worth.
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
