What mp3 converter do you recommend?

i have like all mp3 files, i need a convertor.
what do you recommend?
must be spyware/adware/virus free

Well for everyone else, i recommend Mediamonkey for file conversion, tagging, and sorting.
Its free and you don't have to configure a lot of plugins to do things (like you do with winamp).

And for audio editing, i recommend Audacity.
It is also free and very simple to use.
