Set actor variable with a universal way

Non-platform specific questions.

I am using a method similar to the one I describe for making only certain actors pause, I also made a lock on function for my game that will scan for a plane and a ground enemy, it will select the closest one and a green square will lock onto it(for missiles) and a yellow square will lock on to the nearest plane and not the nearest ground actor(so it will auto aim the bullets.)

Right now (10/14/2009) I'm working on some C++ projects, but I might be able to help if you have some Game Editor questions. :)

Cool, but isn't there a easier way to get that autoaiming?
