everyone seems to be gone most of the time. what will it take to get people back? the release of the online capability? I get the feeling that even then there won't be many people here.

I'm here all day but there ain't too much to talk about.
When I joined the forums (which is quite a while back), there was much more traffic.

You know what would really bring me back?
Less schoolwork!
Else if it doesn't depend on that:
We should make a gamepack... Games functioning perfectly, made with Game Editor, with modifiable sourcecodes... Full games... Make an educational book next to it... Sell it as book and example CD... It would be awsome... It's what other major game creation software have.
Otherwise... I'll be around more in the schoolbrakes.... I might make a game for christmas as a late christmas gift...
But then I'll be quite again for like until easter...
