Just got the level 1 mini-boss all working properly... see pic. Also got the entire health/lives/checkpoint system all up and running perfectly, so I should have the demo ready sometime this next week (even though I said that last week)

Wow, those machine graphics reminds me of one quite old Sega game. Called "ravenge of ninja" or something like that. :D

Let D-soldier take his time. Hurrying up isn't good for a game. :)

d-soldier,     (sniffle) I wish I could do that :( . Except I have absolutely no artistic ability :( . But they are really really really really really really really really really really really really really really, (I would keep going, but my fingers hurt), COOL!!!! That is professional work! You could sell that! (I hope you dont 'cause I want to play) And just out of curiosity (I think I spelled that right) is that animation made from scripting? Or is it drawn like ms paint?

I have a whole lot of sprites in this game, and far more scripting then anything I've ever made before. This will be the greatest game I have ever made in GE. period. But to answer your question, scripting us used to control when and how everything happens, but the visual effects themselves are made up of sprites. That screen itself probably has twenty-five actors or more that are visible.

I think anyone who puts in the effort to make a completely unique game (to include not using someone else's sprites) and posts a screenshot gets a solid response and praise for the accomplishment... not just me... but just to prove it maybe some other people should get to work and post some new work here too.

Nice, it reminds me of the fly-swatter game from the snes Mario-Paint. Looking good.
