he guys im trying to make better smoke effects in my game so i open up animationshop3 and i start to smudge the smoke and it looked good until when i saved it the animationshop turned it from perfect to dark with a black edge... what happened?

if are talking about a jagged black edge then you probably saved it as a .gif file with transparency. Try saving the original as a png file.

And if possible, disable the antialiasing.

if you have paint shop pro 7(animation shop 3 comes with it so maybe so.)
just use it to make smoke animation frames then you can just save each frame as an image with the extention(not file extention, but just after your image name.) go up in numberic order.
(example: myimage_01 myimage_02 myimage_03)
then when you add an animation select multiple files and load the first frame, you can take it from there. :D

Make sure to save it as a 32-Bit image like png or tga
