- Exported games can be digitally signed

Is there a way to detect that the game has the original digital signature? There are programs on the internet (tools extracted from Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, for example) that can 're-sign' applications with a 'dummy' or 'test' signature.

Thanks for the update, Makslane! We are a BIG step closer to protecting our games and multimedia applications!

The purpose of the signature is to allow your game execute in locked systems, like some Smartphones. In those devices, only games digitally signed can be executed.

Thank you again, Makslane, for pulling through for the developers!

I have contacted Handango and PocketGear regarding the ability to prompt the game buyer with a hardware ID that can be processed with the RPN registration method - right now, it's assuming the purchaser will be owner name of the device. Combining those two features can make sure your game does not get pirated, since the hardware ID is unique to the device, while the RPN string makes it difficult to be figured out.

In the meantime, Makslane has directed me to eSellerate where you can be prompted to enter a string, such as the Hardware ID, and process your RPN string. Keep in mind that eSellerate charges 10% of your sales, compared to 50% at Handango, and 40% at PocketGear. More profit for you!

So, using my registration module, instead of asking the user for the Pocket PC Owner Name, you can grab it with Makslane's new commands, and/or use the Unique Hardware ID. Or, you can make it even more unique by concatenating both! i.e. John Doe-3X05MA8Z

Way to go!

I found on download.com that Game Editor is #6 popular development tool. It is ABOVE Macromedea Dreanweaver. Very good work Makslane.

Game Editor is a great tool. The click-on collision is very good, because making somting that complex would take days at least, and you can make it in just a couple of seconds!
