If they use freewebs, they are using a template based wysiwyg. I'm using raw html code which I write and edit in notepad. (actually in notetab but the idea is the same)
My website graphics are zero but I'm working on a new website which SnowFear will help to decorate.

There is something called "page manager" or something like that. There you can upload what you want. But don't wonder if you will get big freewebs ads on your site!

i dont know... i think u can add your own background though. use your own logo

I don't know about now but earlier freewebs had an option to create pages without freewebs template. However, you can try uploading a html file to freewebs, that should not turn into a template.
