Unable to install v1.3.6

Greetings, I am currently running GE v1.3.4. I am unable to install GE v1.3.6

I double click the exe to install, but nothing happens.

- In the task manager, I see the process running - but am unable to switch to it, or end it.
- No unusual logs in the Event Viewer.

I am running Windows XP SP2. Other applications are able to install as far as I can tell. I assume its an issue with my system. Any assistance anyone can offer would be helpful. Is their an install log file generated?

1.3.6 is available, but I don't know what’s different/fixed!? It installed just fine on my machine (Win XP Pro SP2)

Check for new version on the Help Menu in the editor.

There's no new GUI. Probably some bug fixes but I can't see any obvious changes. Not really looked properly though. I'm sure Makslane will let us know

Odd, i downloaded a file called gameeditorpro_v1.3.6.exe from the 'Check for updates' option in the editor, and it installed ok, I'd updated to v1.3.5 the day you released it too. Though now I check in the 'About' option of the help menu it does still say v1.3.5

unfortunately the post has not yielded the results hoped for.

whether 1.3.6 exists or not...that is indeed the name of the file downloaded from this site, and its associated windows process name.

none the less..the install hangs on all my machines attempted.

is there an install log file, or some method to debug specific to ge? or am I outside the scope of support
