Can I ask questions about GE's creator- Makslane

Postby Just4Fun » Fri Jul 18, 2003 6:24 pm

I'm not sure if this is an appropriate post, but I greatly respect anyone who is talented enough to program a game creator type of program. I'm wondering Mark, if you would be willing to share a little biographical information about yourself?

How did you get interested in doing a project like this.

I've thought many times about how much I would like to try programming something like this on a small scale (just to learn), but upon investigation of the how-tos, everything leads back to C++. I'm not really very talented even in VB.

What about it Makslane? Would you be willing to give a little about your background? :?:

I am Brazilian (my English is not good), I program since the 13 years of age, in an Apple II. Then, C came and great Amiga computer, where I developed a small 3D modeler. Some years of work with CG, among other things.

And, ... I like games...

I thought there was an Amiga influence there.

I used to program using AMOS way back when...

Way back when the Amiga was the only real choice for game programming... ;-)
