List your favorite games (and why)

No fighting please.

My favorites on the pc -

• Portal2 - While the first one excellent, it was very short, the sequel was much more fleshed out and humorous.
• Vessel - Because it has really fun and interesting fluid mechanics. Basically you can make creatures out of liquid.
• Audiosurf - It's what you get when you mix match-three mechanics with gutiar hero. You get to procedurally generate tracks based on music on your computer. The more intense the music, the faster the track goes.
• Half life 2 (and the episodes) - The only reason not to play this would be if you don't like cliffhangers. (the previous episode came out almost 7 years ago).
• Garry's mod - The only game where I can play as Darth Vader driving around in a Delorean with my buddy Deadpool inside a Tardis on a Star Destroyer while I throw combustible lemons at zombies.
• Minecraft - because why not.
• Lego Star Wars (2). One of the first "real" video games I played. I look back on it fondly.

Favorites on Android -

• Super Hexagon - A very simple but mind numbingly difficult game I can play this game for 30 seconds at a time, but it's strangely addictive.
• They need to be fed - A 2D game that takes inspiration from Super Mario Galaxy. I just like it.
• Can Knockdown - What's more satisfying than knocking down stuff?

MegaDrive -

• Sonic 3 and Knuckles - Because Knuckles.
• Earthworm Jim - Mostly because of the art.

What I'm playing right now.

• Syder Arcade - an interesting bullet hell smump
• The Shiva - A Jewish point and click game I got in a humble bundle. Interesting so far.

• Mother 3 (GBA) - Sequel to EarthBound, never released outside of Japan, a fan translation is available. Highly recommended if you like RPGs and feel trips.
• Just about every Pokémon game - not including gen 5
• Every Professor Layton game (DS)
• Every Ace Attorney game (DS)

Other consoles:

• Kingdom Hearts 2 (PS2)
• Zelda: Wind Waker (GameCube)
• A certain Italian plumber who does anything but actual plumbing (Every Nintendo console)
• This list can probably go on for much longer but I'm lazy.

What I'm playing right now:

• Kerbal Space Program - A multi-genre game where the goal is to send up probes and people into space and not failing completely while doing so
• SimCity 4 - A brilliant (but also extremely laggy and full of bugs) city simulator game
• Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - A computer gaming simulator

My favorites on the pc

• Syberia (I & II) - Possibly the best point and click puzzle solving adventure game series I've ever played. (Let's not say aloud that I haven't played other series..)
• Minecraft - What can I say? Isn't it pretty obvious that I love this game if I have often said I would like to actually physically live in the Minecraft universe?
• Worms 4 Mayhem - The amount of hours spent playing that game with my brother. And I always lose.
• Lion King 2: Simba's Pride Gamebreak - I had hours of fun with this as a child when me and my brother tried to win each other at this.
• Rayman Raving Rabbids - One of the silliest games I've ever played, excellent way to spend some time.
• Midtown Madness - I played this game as a child, too. With my brother and my uncle.
• Liero - As a child, me and my brother. Darn, it seems that I only value games that I have some nostalgic memories about. -.-
• Machinarium - I love this game! The ambiance is perfect, the animations are smooth and the characters and the story very interesting and just so lovable.
• Portal - I just cant't help but love the atmosphere, the characters, and the ending song.)
• Portal 2 - Take everything I loved in the original game, raise all that into power of 10, add in some epic visuals of the badly damaged testing environments and laboratories, a great plot twist, and one of the most interesting background stories and well-designed game universes of all time, and you get Portal 2, this game that I wholeheartedly adore.
• Counter-Strike Source: I must admit it already. Before I used to be against all FPS games, but then I tried some out, and started to like them (when playing with friends locally, that's when it's best), and this game is the first-person shooter that really got me hooked.

Playstation 1

• Spyro: Year of the Dragon - The first Spyro game I ever played, and in my opinion, the best one of them. (I don't consider anything after the buggy PS2 Enter the Dragonfly a real spyro game, and haven't played them.)
• Crash Bandicoot - I got to know this game just about two years ago, and at first I was so annoyed by the difficulty being extreme for me, and the save mechanic and controls being merciless. However, when I decided to give it a second chance, I didn't regret it for a second. And now I have completed the game with 100% (I used Internet for finding tips for the toughest parts). I love this game.
• Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back - The first Crash game we (me and my brother) got. I also remember playing this with my friend before we had this. A marvelous game, personal nostalgia level is about 5000/10 with this one.
• CTR: Crash Team Racing - Simply put, the best kart driving game ever. And I always lost to my brother.
• Hugo: Black Diamond Fever - The first 3D platformer game we got. Just an epic game which took us years to complete, because we started playing it at the age of 7 (me) and 5 (my brother). We didn't get through the fourth level until years later.
• Disney's Donald Duck: Quack Attack - Nostalgia.
• Klonoa - The epic predecessor to one of the best ps2 games I've ever played. This game has such an unique feeling, it's indescribable. It may look like a kids' game, but the story and the visuals and the musics make it quite an epic, and at some points even scary adventure.

Playstation 2

• Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 - Easy to learn and easy to control, provides endless hours of fun and challenge.
• Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder - Pretty much the same for snowboarding games as the previous is for skateboarding games. Great for two players.
• Klonoa 2 Lunatea's Veil - I played this game's demo at my friend's place as a kid with my brother. And I loved the two levels there was on the demo. Then I forgot about the game for years, and remembered it again thanks to CrimsonTheDarkBat and his game Sonic: Empire of Nigthmares. Why? Well, because this: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10334&p=86411&hilit=klonoa+2#p86411 (The EDIT part of the post) Now I own the game and have played it through twice, and I love it wholeheartedly.
• Need for Speed Underground 2 - The best of NfS's I've played.

Currently playing

• Tomb Raider (ps1) - I'm slowly making it towards the end of the game. I enjoy playing it, but I also am quite afraid often when I play it, because one can never know what kind of creature is going to surprise you next time - and when it's going to happen.

Other

• Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped - I'm waiting for this game to arrive from the guy I bought it from via eBay.
• Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee - I'm waiting for the auction to close in eBay. Caddicarus told that this game is excellent, so I decided to get it.

Madden 10 (I have many memories with my dad and this game)
NHL09 (Again, a game that my dad and I played a lot, I just loved beating him and creaming him, and watching him get mad that I beat him in our little "Stanley Cup Final."
SmackDown vs Raw 2007 (Probably the game I played the most on that console, I didn't really play XBox a lot, but it was a favorite game of mine as this was around the time I liked wrestling the most I would like it)
Battlefield1943 (I just loved this game, I played a lot of this game when we had XBox Live, I think the first fps I played as well)

PS2:
- Kingdom Hearts
- Kingdom Hearts II
- SmackDown! Here Come the Pain (One of the first games I remember playing as a child, also was a big wrestling fan and quite possibly the first game I played for the ps2)

PS3:
-Infamous
-Call of Duty: Black Ops (I don't care if liking COD is considered uncool now, when I had this game, it was a large amount of gaming experience of my life)
-Battlefield 1943 (I begged my dad to buy this for me on the PS3 because I loved it on the XBox, and he did, and the fun continued)

GE:
-Winter Blast (I just liked it a lot)
-Revolt (Very addicting, and a great game to me for GE)
-Dimension55355 (a fun game lcl made)

Now for the consoles I played the most, and the ones with my true favorites

Nintendo64:
-Paper Mario (Either this or Super Mario 64 was the first game I ever played, my memory doesn't serve me that long to decide which one, it was just programmed into me to know both games, I just loved it)
-Super Mario 64 (I really liked the game when I was a kid, and constantly did the first part as I liked fighting Big Bob-omb, Whomp King, and Bowser, plus liked racing the penguin, and throwing the baby penguin off the cliff once the mom penguin gave the star, I am horrible)
What no Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, well this game was actually not my favorite, and my least favorite 3D console Zelda, I know this will make you outraged, but in my opinion, the game is horribly overrated.

GameCube:
-Super Mario Sunshine (I really liked this game, my sister and I had a blast playing this as kids, and I really like it, although many other believe it to be the worst 3D Mario, I disagree)
-Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker (Me, my sister, and my cousin had many great memories with this game, and my first real Zelda experience)
-Mario Tennis: (I just liked this game a lot, along with my sister)
-Pokemon Colosseum (My first spinoff pokemon game)
-Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness (Still never have turned Shadow Lugia into Lugia now that I think about it)
-Mario Party 4-7 (I always loved GameCube Mario Party's)
-Luigi's Mansion (I remember this game used to scare me as a child, lol)
-Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (One of my favorite games out of all of these, definitely my favorite Paper Mario game)
-Super Smash Brothers Melee
-Mario Kart: Double Dash

GameBoy:
-Pokemon LeafGreen (I got a level 100 Blastoise on it)
-Pokemon Gold/Silver
-Pokemon Sapphire

Wii:
-Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (First game I got on Wii)
-Mario Super Sluggers (I had tournaments by myself on this game that I made)
-Mario Kart Wii
-Super Smash Brothers Brawl
-Super Paper Mario (A very underrated game by gamers in my opinion, I liked the story, and Dimentio with Mr. L are some of my favorite bosses)
-Wii Sports (Also a first game of course)
-Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Favorite Zelda, despite a lot of people's negative feelings towards it)
-New Super Mario Brothers Wii (Friends is all I need to say)
-Super Mario Galaxy 1-2 (Combines my two favorite things, Mario and space, favorite Mario Series, and therefore video-game series)

Nintendo DS/DS Lite
-Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time (One of my first DS games, although most least favorite Mario and Luigi franchise game, it introduced me to my favorite RPG series)
-New Super Mario Brothers (First of the New Super Mario Bros, liked playing it)
-Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue
-Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness
-Pokemon Platinum
-Kingdom Hearts 358 and a half days
-Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

-Super Mario Brothers U (My solo experience was better, just because I actually decided to enjoy it more than the last, 100 completion)

-Monster Hunter 3 U (One of my favorite games of them all)

-Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
-Mario and Luigi: Dream Team (My favorite of the franchise so far, Bowser actually is a real foe, and Luigi gets his special moments, also I like the humor in it)

Well if you like the genre, I'd reccomend Machinarium and Monkey Island. I haven't played The Walking Dead, but I heard is was very good.

I know that feel bro. There are 2 games I'm nostalgic about, and neither of them are very good.
One was this Crash Bandicoot clone with M&M's characters and math problems. I was alright, but probably not as good as CB.
The other was a game called MotoRacer. It's a decent game, you can find this game on http://www.gog.com. I have memories of crashing my mom's Windows 95 playing this game.

Yes My brother has a copy of this. I played it a little, it was quite good.

I don't play wii games often, but I have to say, Wii sports - Resort was my favorite. It had one of the most fun and accurate motion controled swordplaying games I've ever played.

Franchises I am currently/wanting to get into:
-Metroid (Trying out MP1)

Metroid is actually quite good. Get the nes and snes ones from virtual console.

Also I forgot to add Street fighter 2 to my list. That game is too dang fun. Also you gotta love Guile's theme (look up Guile's theme goes with anything on youtube).

Doom series: probebly the best video game horror game i ever played(especially the HD remastered Serie
Ninja gaiden all THE FREAKING SERIES:Best ninja game ever created especially the music
Okami: probably the best wii game ever
All the legend of zelda:i am such a zelda addict i actually played all the game(took almost all my life away) After ton's of emulators and years spent,even the ocarina had an incredible effect on my life (i am making ocarinas right now)

i am downloading Kingdom hearts 2 final mix right now,it's the only game of the series i still havent played

Also Candy Crush is a great game for the computer when you need to kill some time jack.
