In my opinion to fairly judge you should judge games A and B from the first round, give these points to the creator of games. Then rate games A and B from the second round. Subtract the points these games earned in the first round, and add that result to the result of the modifier of the games.

Final result = (game A round 1 points + game B round 2 points - game B round 1 points) / 2

Divide by 2 because each contender made two half games :D

You know, that sounds good. There is a few chinks to work out, but overall, it sounds like a plan.

Jolt is right, but boy, time sure flies. I'm near the end of my exams, which I feel hasn't started, so they didn't work out so well.... Hopefully you'll participate next time.
Anyway: I've sent the rating of our 2 contestants to NoH yesterday.
Currently: Semi-Active.
Working on: Maybe putting my test games in gamejolt, polishing them a bit, but I still don't know when.

lcl, are you done grading, or are we just going to use jon's grades to decide the winner?

Sorry for the delay, I've been doing a lot of other things and kinda forgot about this. But of course I'll judge.

I will have to credit the Ludum Dare community for finding that bug. I looked at the game's Ludum Dare page and in the comments someone mentioned that if you update your shield enough, running into the lava actually gives you more health.

I then, of course, abused that bug to progress further in the game  (because I sucked without using the bug.. :P )

Lol. I think shield for defense is a bit too much of a pain at these types of games. Shield should just be "Evasion" and therefore should just be the chance of NOT being hit by lava instead of defense. Max "evasion" is 75 for a 75% chance of not being hit by lava. Well... That's what I think. :P

Okay, are you ready for the winner to be announced! *Random screams that you should all be doing at this point*
Two contestants entered this tournament, with just a little tweak to the plan, they had to submit a game by the 10th, as they chose my evil plan. What they didn't know is that I would make them switch their games to finish each others. Both contestants have won a tourney in the past, with January being Hares, and February being Cracked, but now only one of them can come on top as of now for this year. There is an extra incentive that I wanted to keep a secret, and that is the winner gets to decide the next tourney's theme.

You shall get an advantage pass again, and I would like you to pm me back the theme of the next tourney that will be announced tomorrow! or the next day...

You both did VERY well in the tourney!! Both of your games were excellent. They all have potential for being popular games, really. :D
But yeah, I chose Hares. Hares added more to Crack's game than Crack added to Hares. (You should help make cutscenes for me sometime Hares. xD) Cracked's game has a fun concept in and made Hares' game a bit easier. Overall, this was an excellent tourney! Can't wait for this month's (If there is any)
