That was a cool video, thanks for sharing it. I like the idea of taking a normal or classic game and tuning it to have personality and to just be more fun. That's cool they give you the game and source code too.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I'M DOING! =D
Making something rather basic and old fashioned, then later in the series turn it into something pretty and, juicy! I've always imagined juicy as a term but didn't think people used it ;)

It is really nice to make simple more fun than make too complex system and hard to play. :-]

Good video. I liked the ideas but you still need to start out with a good game play and that is the part that is key. Still this will at least make things more interesting.
