Warez have been around since software was born, they've always been a part of the gaming world, they always will be. Things aren't getting any worse
Yes, big greedy software companies have a lot to fear from piracy. They want you to believe that money + time = creativity. If you'll just swallow that lie, they could sit back and never have to work again. That's their ultimate goal, to find a way to prepackage and mass-produce creativity. I'm thankful the piracy world is around to keep these fatcats in check. The piracy world isn't here to fight individuals who are honestly trying to do quality work, it's here to fight big companies. It's here to show them that we don't buy the lie, we don't care that you spent 10 years and 50 quadrillion dollars on your game. If it sucks, it sucks.
If you make a good game, it will sell. If you make a bad game, no amount of anti-piracy can save it. Money is just paper and numbers, the only real value in this world is people and what's inside them. So use what's inside you to make the best darn game you can make
