For me jpg is "jaypeg" too, because it is somtimes with 4 letters - jpeg.
Bmp is just "b-m-p" though

Kind of difficult for me to explain how I pronounce things, since in Finland we don't actually pronounce anything. We always read the letters the same way.

But as I've used english quite much, thanks to this forum, I do pronounce some filetypes inside my head in english. But I got no idea how to write out what I pronounce xD

But bmp is for me a simple b-m-p, though I sometimes also say bitmap.
Also, png is p-n-g for me, sometimes I pronounce the letters in english, sometimes I just... erm.. say them in finnish come to think of it, I do that same thing with b-m-p..
