What do you mean make the frames smaller? And why does Goku have to be at the bottom of the frame? Sorry for the questions just a bit confused haha

well right now, your frame size is like 3x as big as goku. it should be just slightly larger than it, and any projectiles he uses should be in seperate files. And the reason I want goku at the bottom of the frame is because of consistency.

Ahh. Well the frame is transparent, so that shouldn't matter. And as for the blast, they are different images. And as for his placement, he will be in the proper spot for which ever animation he changes too. He is in the exact same spot in every frame, so he won't move around all weird and glitchy.

I still would prefer if the frames were smaller because i use the width and height variables, and because it takes up uneccessary extra storage space to have the frame be that big

I don't want to download the game right now
so i would like to know what playable carter are in the game.

and if you want to make a new version i will surely help you with sprites
i made some and they are on the last topic of the sonic velocity development page

Right now, the playable characters are mario, ichigo, and sonic. If you want to make sprites for knuckles, that would be cool. I already have knuckles sprites
(they are from sonic advanced 2with these sprites knuckles can :

1st: walk
2nd: run
3rd: run fast
4th: stop left and right
5th: fire dance (when knuckels swing on the ground with his feet in the air
6th: fire fist (fire uppercut)

If you want much more fighting skills i will make you some

AS LONG THAT I GET HELP FROM YOU IN MY NEW GAME.

what i meant was use that style and separate all the attacks into filmstrips, like this

you can use the other sprite sheets, just separate his attacks and stances into filmstrips and make sure each frame is the same size

Except get rid of the text and make the images lined up in the frames. A good way to test it is to actually import it into game editor and see if it actually animates correctly.

@Hblade I was actually thinking of rewriting this in xcode so that I have more accessebility, but i don't know objective-C very well. do you know a language that can be compiled for iphone, android, and all 3 major OS's?
