pauseing certain actors without pauseing the whole game

hi guys does anyone know where sparky's demo is for pauseing certain actors? i searched but i did not find im trying to make an intro menu but i still want the mouse to move so if anyone can post that that would be great because i don't want to have to use disable and enable certain events for certain actors
