I need help from the game editor elite please!!

Ok this is the problem a good friend of mine asked me to make a game for his mobile device. The problem is I really dont know where to start coding because I do action games not puzzles. I really need this because he never let me down and asking me for a game is small compared to favors he did for me in the past.
The game demo I need is Jezzball a old computer game.

ok I hit the point button your at 66 now. Just in case you never played jezzball this is the object of game.
Using the mouse you make lines across taking up as much space as possible.
There is a ball moving randomly on the screen , if the ball hits your line before you complete the line from one point to another, your line gets destroyed and you lose one life.
The goal is to cover 75 percent of the screen then you go to the next stage.

Theres only one way I know of to do this. Would you mind if I make a different puzzle game and see if he likes that? It'll have decent graphics If he likes it we will continue to build it

Doing the method you said would take time, but there are alternate ways around it, such as being able to pick an angled line to draw.

Alright make it the best way you know how. Just 2 things
Make the resolution 800x480
Can you export it to pocketpc because Iam traveling and I dont have my computer with me right now. Thanks alot Hblade your the best!!
