if all goes well i can have v1.03 out in 10-14 days ;)

in v1.03
added 5 new skills,
2 new skill types
increased the resolution to 800x600
upgraded the sprites visualy
decreased the size of the game megabyte wise ( shouldent be more then 2 MB now )
increased the frame rate slightly
re balenced all skillsand much more

and yes jk3 lol those eye balls ARE very pesky, but the new skills will take care of that, heres 1 of them ;)

DEMON STRIDE lvl 1

while active, your movment speed is increased by an additional 50% ( from 2 to 3)
while active, your your current position ignites into flames
every second, burning any enemy that comes in contact with it


use key : 4
type : tactical enchantment
activation : instant
recharge : 30
effect : MAGE walk/run speed increased by an additional 50%
effect 2 : flames burn enemies
damage : 3 per second
target : all in its area
duration : 10 seconds
duration 2 : 5 seconds
mana cost : 25

mobility allowed while casting
(effect 2 does not stack with its self)

just wana tell ppl, the main purpose of eternal legacy is not suposed to be a single player RPG experience,

it is a character development concept game, so if and when online capability comes out, the characters i created will be PVP ( player versus plaver) capable and eternal legacy will be transfered into a arena deathmatch style game

btw heres another point about the update, the new skill type "stance" is very special

normaly all your spells cast and recharge at a certain speed, but stances can reduce those times by 50% at a cost of mana per second ( by presing and holding tab you will go to your new skill bar)

intuition lvl 1

while this skill is active,
the recharge time of skills used will be be reduced by 50%
(only effects skills used during the active period)
( example shatter stone can be casted every 5 seconds instead of every 10 seconds while active)


use key : tab+2
type : stance
activation : instant cast
recharge : 15 seconds
duration : infinate untill deactivated
mana cost : 20 (additional 4 per second while active)


mobility allowed while casting


heres another stance

evoker lvl 1

while this skill is active,
the activation time of skills used will be be reduced by 50%
(only effects skills used during the active period)
( example, fireball takes 2 seconds to cast, with evoker active, it would take 1 second to cast)

use key : tab+1
type : stance
activation : 3 seconds
recharge : instant
duration : infinate untill deactivated
mana cost : 20 (additional 4 per second while active)

mobility allowed while casting

I beat the game at GOD mode (after a million tries) anyway i was wondering...
can you make such games LAN or Online or something like that?

Oh and about that ghost spell that works with 0...I'm not sure if its 100% effective. Sometimes i died from eyes while its on.
Do you really have to die when you dodge into the water?
Even though GOD mode is almost impossible don't u think its better if you add armor to it?
Fireball is a bit of a pain with the casting time.

I'll try finding other suggestions soon. Until then keep up the good work! :D

OMG... u seriously beat god mode!?!??! :shock: i neve even atempted it i thought it was too hard to beat :shock:

ya the " ultimate" skill 0 it doesnt make you invincable, from eyes, it only kills them if the mage ancients hit them, ( the skill wil be diferent in the new update v1.03)

LOL!! :lol: actualy yes, cuz if you teleport in the water you will pass by the colision events and willbe able to walk anywhere in the game ( see my colission glitch demo, in the bugs and features secion of this site)

if GE suports LAN and online, i promise eternal legacy will be a pvp deathmatch arena game ;)


god mode and other modes 3will be diferent next update

fireball willhave cast time of 1 seconds with the new evoker stance activated, so no wories there ;)

Yeah I did thx to the help of spell Earth Shatter and lots of dodges and as i said it took me a million tries.

Ur welcome, Ill play ur games anytime :P

Is there any chance that you can teach me a bit in GE? :D

The game was great! I look forward to the future editions, but I just had one problem: the spell that creates a flame where your mouse is (the one that u have to wait a few seconds to take effect), if you just keep using it on the lich, it's too easy. I beat it on god mode with that :wink: . anyway, keep up the good work!
All of my friends tell me programming is my thing. I go to tech school and I'm in I.T., yep, programming all day. My friends ask for help all of the time. But, they tell me my graphics suck... and I have to agree. O, well :/

so you say inferno needs to be nerfed? hmm ok il take a look at its statistics and re evaluate its attributes

i might give it a 5 second recharge

and thanks so much for your feedback, i appreciate it very much

actualy, i am re working the entire skill tree's mana cost, and recharge for every skill, so theres gona be drastic differences, also lightning disc now hits only 1 enemy, and will be renamed to something beter ( havent thought of a good name for it yet )
