Check out the shapeways link above - you can upload a 3D file, then pay shapeways to print it out for you, and then they mail it to you. You pay them per cubic centimeter, which can get expensive depending on what material you use. Plus, you'd have to learn a bit of 3D modelling in order to make your design. So, in any case, you would probably leave that for the last step (after you got else everything working). Someday, I'm gonna try this printing service out myself.
And about the sega genesis, do tell me if you actually find one for around 25 bucks, a lot of the comments on amazon said that's what they got them for at the dollar store (even $50 dollars seems a bit steep). those comments were from last November, so I don't even know if that price is still applicable.
