Should I make them bigger then?

Though I'm not experienced, but I think larger icons will impair the ease of browse for mobiles, but like I said, I've never even used a mobile device xD

I'm actually not well versed with mobile browsing either, but as far as appeal when browsing from non-mobile, I think larger icons are better. And most likely the size difference from 32x32 to 48x48 won't have too much of an impact on mobile browsing. Currently the icons we are using don't come across as professional as we'd like, and increasing size can help here. So yeah, try for 48x48 images.

Alright! I'll restart making the icons in 48x48 now :)
And which General icon did you prefer? the one with the blackened background?

I think the lighter one would work better, though I do like the definition the dark circle gives. I can't actually change the icons, or I would test the two to see. One thing though, if possible all the icons should have the same style. I like the style you used for the tutorial icon, but the other ones you posted aren't quite the same.

Then I'll probably use your ideas more, since some of my icons are hard to follow the cartoony style of the tutorial! But thanks a lot for the feedback :)

I tried making the Getting Started icon so far, but I think something could be added to it but I don't know what o:

Hmm, I think what's missing is the fact that it doesn't use space wisely. At least from what I've noted good icons are ones that use space efficiently. The main things that contribute to that are using the space that is given (minimize the transparent space) and keeping the image balanced (uniform and usually in the center). In the case of this one it has plenty of empty space, and is twice as tall as it is wide. Perhaps you could use the arrow as a background for the pacman, and it could look like a go/direction sign with the pacman on it. That would center/balance it and allow both parts of the image to be bigger (reducing the transparent part).

Perfect idea sky! Ill get to it as soon as I'm done my 2D programming class :D

I hope you don't mind me asking all these questions, I'm not exactly a graphic artist, and I'm not making these icons for myself :)

I have to say, I might take a while to make these icons so if someone else that's quicker or has more time for it, go for it :)
I'm sorry if I cause any inconvenience in a way ^^;

The new organization is great! I would love to make new icons if gogo doesn't have the time. :D

Any user can try their hand at it. We'd like it to be as professional as possible, and if we have multiple icons from different people, we'll pick the most fitting ones. The more options there are, the better the outcome will be. And there will be some subforums that I still haven't created/moved around.

Here's my shot at it :D
Download
Note: I exported each image at 3 different sizes. 48x48, 64x64, and 128x128. Also, the .anme file is an anime studio file. It's the source to the image :D

I might make more if I get the time but for now, that's all I can do :P
