creating bitmap fonts?

hi folks!

i still have problems using/creating bitmap fonts for my game.
And i mean NOT only digits (0-9) - i mean a FULL font including special characters and all letters from A - Z.

Are there any example Bitmap Fonts i could have a look at ?
How much Characters are needed? All 127? That would be ... *phew*

Any example BMP´s?

Are really ALL 127 characters needed? Or is it safe to start at Dec 32?

For a font, you can use any number of characters you want. Just set the number of chars, and the starting char in the font window.

Ok, but how does GE now where the correct characters are then?!

I mean that i e.g. write "bonus" and it outputs "gsqxu" or something ?

Just keep the ASCII sequence.
