i am currently working on a shooting engine for everyone to use, it works on following the mouse, and with cpus which will shoot at you and move intelligently.
heres a screen shot, its not much but hey.

It looks interesting, I'd like to see how it turns out :P

well, its gonna be for everyone to use. it runs so that you can input any sprite anto the enemy or player and it will work fine.

make sure u dont die, the cpu just keeps respawning XD

a-left
d-right
w-jump
q-grenade
left click-shoot
right click-jet boost

Nice. :D
But it doesn't shoot every time if you're moving mouse too fast... It happens because follow mouse is sometimes slow.
You could create filled region actor and make it to follow mouse and have those mouse button down events.
It could work better for it. :D

i do, lol
ive already changed it in the version to come.
but i always had a canvas following the mouse, the cursor is just for show.
