no but its form of advertisement for the apps you make, so when people get their hands on GE in facebook you know the most "popular" social network then you have a higher chance of selling your apps. In this page, you get to vote for the best app made by GE, you get to post Questions, share codes, and so on. ( but please nothing inappropriate)
