Is the GE an easy app for beginners???

Hi I'm newcomer, I'm electronic engineer and I manufacture arcade video games machines...NOT the software the hardware I make it. I like to start to create a game an easy game at first because I'm beginner about the software development.
My question is if the GE are an easy application for newcomers???

there is no game maker like game editor. with game editor you can use sprites to build a easy game or an advanced game.
just look in the game demos for ideas, that way you can find ideas on what games people have made so you dont copy anyone else.
oh, and if i were you, i would look at the demos inside game editor too.
