Won't run on XP

I'm sure I did something wrong, but I downloaded and extracted the files without error. Whenever I try to run it I get 2 windows of black, then the ___ has encountered a problem message. Any suggestions?

Extract the zip file with some tool like winzip.

I just downloaded and tried 7zip, no change.

I need to check the system requirements. I probably don't have enough memory. Thanks.

I tried that download also. Does the game-editor folder need to be anywhere in particular?
