Couldn't open data\ArialNi.TTF Cant Load Project

Postby The Gamenator » Thu Nov 03, 2005 1:29 am

Can someone help me because I have been having problems with Game-Editor lately :( and I wanted to know if there was a way to fix it before my trial runs out. Because once my trial runs out and I cant get it fixed I would be shakey about buying the program although its fairly cheap! :D

Okay now the problem is that after I save a game file and try to load it back up I get an error message stating Couldn't open data\ArialNi.TTF or Cant Load Project. :?:

If someone can help me with this problem before my trial period runs out I would really appreciate it because other than this major problem Game-Editor seems to be a great game creation engine :P

Just copy the file ArialNi.TTF from original location to your data directory

I'm noticing that sometimes it copies the TTF file over to the data folder, and other times, it does not. I can't see a pattern, and I only realize when it's too late (it comes up with the error message) and have to run back to the other PC or search for the TTF file on the internet just to get it running again.

Any reason why it's inconsistent?
