I need a music-creating-software...

Postby Freddy » Sat Dec 22, 2007 4:55 pm

I dont want anything big, that has about 10,000 different buttons that costs $999,999.99. On the other hand, I dont want something dumb that has 3 functions, 2 instruments, and 5 notes. If anyone knows a music making software that is somewhere in-between these two extremes, PLEASE TELL ME. I will give 2 points to anyone who can show me a good software. :D

search for modplug tracker, great tracking tool! I make all my music with it, really powerful if you know how to use it, but it's only for windows.
And asmodeus, linux may be good, but very few programs are made for it, it's better to have windows and linux at the same time.

well, first, you need instrument or samples (You can make instrument out of samples)
then you go in pattern, and you compose your music.
To place a note, you just need to press a key on your keyboard.
I'd suggest you would do some searching for help and you just toy around the program.

And here if ya wanna toy with a music I made!

make sure that the instrumen/sample is selected!

like if you press "a" and it places "C-5- --- - --" that means there is no instrument selected,it should place "C-5 01 --- - --"
