Dragging?

Dude I know theres the built in drag function, but I wanted to make my own. I tried everything but WOW it's hard... And I dont want the character to teleport to the mouse if you click him! Meaning you click the character, and he will automatically teleport to the tip of the mouse which is annoying I tried to work around this but I cant do it :/ theres a reason behind it but I'm just about to stop trying because it's aggervating
