new Menu Engine

Postby Fojam » Wed Aug 15, 2012 3:56 am

I finished building a menu engine and i made a demo.

the animations in the demo are crappy because i really didnt want to spend a lot of time on them.
I added a lot of comments in the code so it will be easy to figure out

I suggest you to make a demo menu so that people can see it actually doing something.

Remember that people are lazy and if they have to do something to see your engine in action
they will not do it. They'll think it's easier just to not try it out at all. It is very difficult to try to learn to use
your system if you don't even give instructions of making a menu with it or a demo showing how you make one.
People can't track your code well enough to understand how it is used to make an actual menu.

I am interested of trying this but I have no idea how I should start.
You could give instructions, but many people would be too lazy to try the engine still,
because what they (and I) first want to see is the engine in action!

So please make a demo menu that presents the engines features
and then I will check it and tell you what I think of it.

I don't mean to sound offending, I really am interested about this.
Just take the time and build a demo menu with it. :)
