MY BIG PROBLEM

HEY GUYS CAN ANYONE PLEASE CAREFULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AS i AM DRIVEN NUTS TO GET SOME HELP FROM PEOPLE. SEVERAL PEOPLE LIKE SKY HELPED BUT STILL I AM STRUGGLING.


OKAY GUYS I HOPE SOMEONE OUT CAN HELP ME WITH THIS:
FIRST TIME OR WHENEVER, I HIT THE ROLLING BALL, I WANT IT TO STOP AND PLAY A ANIMATION, OKAY NOW EVERY TIME I HIT IT, I WANT TO BE ABLE TO HAVE IT GO BACK OR FORTH RANDOMLY (PLEASE NOT E THAT I DON’T MEAN BOUNCING BUT EVERY HIT 1 DIRECTION EITHER BACKWARD OR FORWARD) AND HIT THE 2ND OR 3RD OR 4TH BALLS EACH AT A DIFFERENT TIME RANDOMLY. PLEASE BE CAREFUL I DON’T ME AFTER HITTING 2ND BALL FOR EXAMPLE, ROLL TO HIT THE OTHER BALLS, NO BUT AFTER ON HIT WHEN IT STOPS AND PLAYS ANIMTION I WANT IT TO MOVE TOWARD THE OTHER BALLS AND HIT ONLY ONE OF THEM THEN ROLL TO EAST SIDE OF THE SCREEN UNTILL I HIT IT AGAIN.

Please don't type in all caps, it can be easily interpreted as rude, and makes it generally harder to read. Now, as I've mentioned many times before for people to help you, you need to explain what you want, and if they provide help that wasn't what you wanted, what about it was not quite right. Now, I've on several occasions given you exactly what you asked for, but at no time did you ask for the last bit of your current request. Your picture shows the other balls on different y levels, so does that mean your ball actor can actually move on the y axis? Before all you wanted the ball to do is move to the side of the screen, and after a bit reappear.

sorry for the caps but i just wanted to make sure people can read it properly didn't meant to be rude but anyway but sky i swear if you can help me on this then we will be finish with this topic forever because this is exactly what I want in general and I swear its been weeks and weeks I am trying to understand the code and put this thing together but it just wont happen i don't know why. any way the Y-axis no its only the x-axis i just did that to show a clear image not just putting bunch of circles right next to each other. but okay sky you know how when you design a game you want to make it challenging so the challenge here for the player will be to stop the rolling ball to hit other balls. and in order to do that, you as the player should hit the rolling ball as much as you can so that after 10 hits for example the ball just moves on going off the screen in the x-axis.

By the way thanks for all your help bro and please note that I am not trying to be bully in this forum and post the same topic over and over i am just a dump programmer who is totally lost. and I am poor and can't afford a hired programmer but do have a dream of putting my game idea out there.

No worries. I know you have other things going on as well. I've been extremely busy the past few days, and will continue to be busy for a couple more days. So, while I'd love to help out right now, I don't have the time to do so to the extent that I would feel was adequate. So, if no one else has managed to help you in the next couple of days, I can take a look at the problem again.

And raminkhan, did Bee-Ant's example do what you wanted it to do? Still busy, but if that wasn't what you wanted, you'll have to explain why not. Otherwise they can't help you any more than they tried.

I second this.

It always cheers me up to see Sky has replied to one of my questions because I know I'll have the answer to my problem and also understand why the answer works.

Now I'm going to run away from this thread hijack
