New Demo Posted

Postby Just4Fun » Fri Feb 25, 2005 5:54 pm

OK,
Makslane just posted "Buy It!",a demo that I put together for newbies.
My personal challenge with it was to try to design something without any coding. --> Well, I failed. That is just not possible yet if there is more than one area to view, so there is a very small amount of code. The tutorial covers most of 'click and create' GE Events. The examples are very simple.

The demo isn't anything special, but still, I have to admit to missing my(and other members) "moment of fame". Remember, before the new site design, when we got to see our demo on the main GE page until someone else submitted a new demo? That was kind of fun. I think it gave me a little boost to create more demos.

Anyone else miss that site feature? or am I just being too much of a prima donna?
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

Ingsan,
You''ve made my day! You give me hope for our future. In you, I see that the world will be in good hands. Thank you.

Oh and Jazz, I 'borrowed' your smiley head graphics idea so, once again, your ingenuity had a positive impact on me. Thank you too.
