Player Animation

Postby Jokke » Sun Aug 27, 2006 2:13 pm

I have a question...When u put animations to the player character can u have more than 5? Like 2 diffrent for each direction? For example: A normal animation for walking to the left and when pressing a key the gun "changes" and its a diffent animation, is this possible?

Ok, I have another issue regarding player animation...
After i animated the player movements (Right/left) and entered them in Game Editor i see that theres some white around it...how do i remove this? the "background" of the animation, i used Corel Paint Shop Pro X to edit the images and i put transparent on the background, then i insert them all in Ulead GIF Animator 5 if that matters to make a animating GIF out of it...please help me

- If the image file has a color depth lower than 32 bits, Game Editor understands that the color of the first pixel (upper left corner) is the color that should become totally transparent in the image.

- If your image has 32 bits color depth, Game Editor will consider the alpha channel (transparency channel) of the image.

Don't matter the color, but you need make sure that the pixels you want become transparent have the same color of first pixel (for images with less than 32 bits)
