Re-format your hard drive and re-install your operating system?

Reinstalling GE

Postby Jammer05 » Mon May 23, 2005 3:56 am

Hey, Gritt!

When I had to reinstall GE, I had to physically backup all of the files that I wanted to keep either on floppies or cd-roms. Then I had to go back to the website and reinstall GE.
I hope this helps ya out Bro.
Later On, Man!! :D

Here is another thought:

You could purchase the basic package for $14.95. That way you wouldn't have any time limitations. My guess is that you can afford $14.95. The product is well worth it. You obviously are using it so why not buy it? Later, if you really get into GE, then you can upgrade to a better package. :D
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

yOU HAVE THE MONEY?!!

Postby Jammer05 » Mon May 23, 2005 5:11 am

Hey just4fun,

I don't recall you ever saying something about money? I am permanently disabled from a terminal illness. I have been fighting my countries Social Security for almost 2 years. Sometimes I practically live @ the hospital.

So, no Sir. I do not have the funds necessary to purchase this most excellent product! Believe me, if I did have the funds I would have already bought it from you.

Thanks for the well-intended info. :P

Hi Jammer05:
Sorry to read about your difficulties. Maybe once you get your social security, you will be able to purchase this product.

Incidently, I am just a GE user like all of the others here. I don't have anything to do with selling or programming GE (I should be so lucky as to be able to have that kind of intellect). When you purchase the program, you actually buy it from a very gifted, hard working programmer whose name is Makslane Araujo Rodrigues. I have never met Makslane. He and I live in two different countries, but I do have a lot of respect for his ability and I enjoy using his Game Editor creation.

Oh, one other thing, I am not a "Sir".

Good luck with your country's social security application.
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

I'll tell you what. If Makslane releases his newest version 1.2.9 this week, I'll buy a one-time Basic license for you, grittmaster69, as well as myself. "Pay it forward!"

This program and his devotion to continuing development to the program is just that good that there's no reason it shouldn't be on everyone's PC to develop and create things from their own imagination to share with others. The fact that the one-time license is so inexpensive makes it even more worthwhile to get.

Take a look at my first game, Bubble Buster. It took me two hours to take the basic premise into a full working product. Just a few tweaks and ideas here and there and two days later, I was done. Now look - over 3,300 downloads in just 12 days! That's 275 times a day on average! (Of course, I released this program for free, asking for simple $3.00 US donations to put towards my two daughters' education.) If I actually charged a reasonable $3.00 US for the same, that would have been nearly $10,000 I would have grossed in under two weeks!

The only reason why my game is so successful is because of Game Editor. Only code this powerful can give me the ability to play stereo sound effects, high-speed animation, incredible response time, looping music, all tightly packaged in an executable that requires no runtime module (unlike NS Basic/CE or eVB), all in a programming and development environment anyone can learn. Thank you, Makslane!

If you're interested, just say the word.
