Talk about making games.

Here are some grass tiles, I will do more later, if you want. Important ones are inner corners, and also switch sides, though they are less important. If you don't know what those are, as I don't know a technical term for it, it really is irrelevant. I also made a tile animation, as I did not know what you are doing, tile or infinite.

the grass looks good. and yes i will be tileing it with the animation one.

I was just wondering what half the tiles where for? are they to connect to like a dirt/road texture and other stuff. and if so how?
and that leads on. could you make me a dirt/road one :P thx

That method implies that you are using an actor specifically for grass, one for dirt, and so on... I could make it so it is just ground tiles, though there is a little more combos needed. Its up to you.

ye i understand now. using zdepth instead of loads of combos of tiles.

ill use a different actor for grass and dirt it will be easyer for both of us. so can you draw the same stuff you did for grass but for dirt and ill make another actor for it. thx :P

I'm not completely happy about this, though I believe it works. Do you really need more types of this tile? If it is the bottom most, you wouldn't, unless you don't like the transition tiles. For the houses, they will be for the city right? On that note, do you want a stone path tile also?
-Edit
I realized when I do water tiles, that will be the lowest, so I would either need a beach transition to dirt, or the dirt to water transition.

Sorry spriting is going slowly, I should start being able to draw more in a couple of days. Here is a stone tile, I might need to add more stones to it.

What type of houses are these? They are for the city right, so there style will be more stone oriented? Here are two more sprites. Not much, but there will be more to come soon.

Okay, I don't mind helping out with your forum banner and other. All I need is a description of the desired picture, style, size, and other. Concerning money, I don't know much about paypal, I was under the impression you cannot do said money transactions. Though I don't really see an alternative way of dealing with money... Maybe you can explain?
I'll try tweaking the tile a bit... I tried it just now, it doesn't seem to work just by adding more tiles. I'll probably redo the tile, allowing for a more even display.

Here is the fence and one stone house, the house might be a little over the top for this age... More will come soon. The cobble stone seems to hard to fit with any other sprites I have drawn, so I'll probably switch it to a stone brick tile.

Here is a different tile, it doesn't look exceptionally smooth, but I believe it fits better. They are not as uniform as the grass was, if you want me to make them so then I can. The advantage of having them uniform is that they are guaranteed to fit, but doing that would skew the tiles themselves...

Sorry it has been so long since I put up sprites, and alas I only have one. I have been caught up in school work, and these houses take forever... The roof design is what took so long, and is the reason everything else looks shabby. If you want me to redo it I understand. It was really rushed... I could make these much faster if the roofs weren't so detailed.

hey. i love the stone tile but cant use it properly. like because the horisontal ones are longer than the vertical ones. i am missing some tiles on it like outside corners. and double edged ones. but i love the style.

house can me alot less detailed i dont mind :)

err ow ye
Crates. i need some crates.
pillars
one inside of a shop( i want it to be missing the roof and the front wall. then have shelfs around it and a counter thats about it)
and ofcorse a shop keeper.

as always there is no rush. if ya have any spare time just do a few of them ect. and ill put them into the game

i am in no hurry to finish this game and i doubt there ever will be a finish.i am just going to keep adding and adding till it is like hours of game play :0
