Online scores

ok so i know that there is a way to create an online scores table, as i read about it here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10459&p=72235&hilit=online#p72235

My question is that is there a way for the score to submit in the background without having to open a web browser? when the web browser opens, its easy to see how to fake a high score

also, is there a way for the game to read from the online scores file and make a table in the actually game, as opposed to opening up a web browser to see the score?
