Unfortunately Ive been very busy and haven't had the time to work on this game. Could somebody take the graphic /data/knife-thrown-left.png and make an animation of it spinning at medium speed? and do the same for /data/knife-thrown-right.png. At the moment the knife looks bad if its thrown upwards but this will make it look good thrown anywhere!

You will get a +1 for your effort! :) That might give me enough encouragement to come back and work on this.

Thanks for the effort Imperialjester! Only problem is that its done on a white background... Im sure you can imagine this would look quite bad. :D Also I would prefer if they were in the .png format.

Any chance of a litte redo? :)

Tutochao: Glad you dropped by to have a look... :) I know its not great (especially in the graphics area) but its a start and your tutorial code helped me to get started!

If anyone is wondering why there is a lack of anything to play with this, its because I want to get all the game mechanics/basics done first and some basic graphics before I move onto AI, creating a level and possibly background music.

Hey Imperialjester I gave you a point for your effort... its not exactly what I was looking for but its got me motivated to finish the knife animation myself! :)

I based my frame positions on what you did and added an extra image. I also saved them all in .png my fav graphics format! :D

Only problem is I had trouble animating it inside GIMP because the pics were layering over each other for some reason. Can somebody make an animated .gif for me? Decide on a reasonable spinning speed... I don't mind unless its crazy or unrealistic! :D

Here is the images to use:

EDIT: I don't need this done now!

Note they are numbered in the order I want... just follow the numbers! You can count... right?!

You don't need a gif
just name it knife1 knife2 and so on
then in actor animation
select multiple files
and with frame rate you can adjust the speed

Run GE, click Config, click Game Properties, click the box next to Icon File, Click OK, then export your game and you will see it :D

Alright, thanks again Wertyboy... I will put it into the next release, which will probably be during the summer since I don't have time now.

Just to let people know I randomly started working on this again... should be making a new release at the end of this month. I still have other things I want to get done before I release it.

Im basically filling in the gaps with the missing graphics for things at the moment. A walking animation is proving to be too difficult for me to implement successfully, I think I will do without it altogether! :D
