How do you make enemies like in pacman?

Talk about making games.

How do you make enemies like in pacman?

Please help me on making enemies move by themselves, constantly chasing the player like in pacman and at the same time avoiding walls.

P.S.: I am a beginner.... please don't use hard-to-understand terms in your answer. Thank you.

No Matter What It's Going To Be Hard To Under Stand If Your A Begginer. But I Think I Have An Easy Way, Look At This Code.

Ghost -> Draw Actor -> Script Editor
Code: Select all
MoveTo("Ghost", 0.000000, 0.000000, 5.000000, "Pacman", "Walls");
The 5.000000 Can Be Changed To Match The Speed You Want, Ghost Is The Actor That Is Moving, And Pacman Is What It's Moving To

the draw actor will not work for that,
use create timer "250"(you must make the timer) and on the timer event->script editor, the Code CAAZ posted. :D
hey, I will post the link to a pacman Demo I made. :)
EDIT: Rats, I can't find it. To many Pac Man Games! :|
