The following is the main page which is going to appear on the Pocket PC screen as soon as the user loads the software

I'd like to know how to load an image. because I am pretty confused on how to manipulate this program.

put a bitmap image of size 128*128 in the same directory in whch u have the program and then name it image1 and then start the exe and then press on the opening blue intro screen(at one side) the actual screen will apear and then press the load button and the image will be loaded for the first time press twice the next button to load the next image (if any with the nameing convention image2 and so on)

Functionalities:

Different features of our software include:
Image Filters
1) Sharpening
2) Smoothing
3) Blurring
4) Embossing

Other effects are:
5) zoom in/zoom out/ best fit
6) horizontal flip
7) Rotate (left, right, upside, down)

We have made a user friendly interface containing all these functionalities.

Any user owning a Pocket PC can instal this software and can use it for editing the pictures.
OR
The windows version of the software could be used on computer.

Some Constraints:

1) Only bitmap images are supported by this software.
2) Image size should be less than or equal to 128 x 128.
3) The user can only select the images sequentially by clicking on the load next/ load previous buttons.
4) Maximum 50 images could be there in the directory.
5) The naming convention of “image[number]” should be used for pictures that are to be used by the user for editing, where number = 1 to 50.
6) If the directory is full and user wants to add more images, then he will be required to manually delete some images from the directory to make room for the new picture.
7) If an image is shared through Bluetooth, it must be renamed according to the naming convention before being used by the software.

HOW TO USE:

In order to use the software on some image, the user is required to click on the load button. This will load the first image present in the curent directory of the Pocket PC. Clicking on the load next or load previous buttons will enable the user to move to the next or previous images in the directory.

When clicking on the load next/ load previous button for the first time, user is required to click twice on the button.

The bitmap image(128 x 128) needs to be placed in the same directory in which user has placed the exe of the software.

After selecting the image on which an effect is to be applied, user can click on the filters buttons [sharp, emboss, smooth, blur] for applying these filters.
For rotating an image, user can click on either of the four buttons under rotate.
Similarly, user can zoom in or zoom out an image.

A click coresponds to one increased level of the image filter effect.

Best fit will return the image in its actual size.

Flip will produce a horizontal mirror image effect.

After applying any of the filters [embossing, smoothing, sharpening, blurring], user can save it by clickig on the save button.

Currently, rotated, flipped or zoomed in/out images could not be saved. We are looking forward to achieve it too.

Me and my group member have enhanced our software....
so we are uploading both the Pocket PC and the Windows version of the software alongwith the sample images and a help documentation..
