Load & Save Variables?

How do i use them? I'm making a game sort of like packman and i want to keep track of the number of jewls that gets destroyed, theres all ready a counting thing, but i want it to save for future levels but how?

A Pacman style game would be pretty ideal for having multiple levels within the same game, as opposed to making individual ged files to export for each level. You should have a score variable which is displayed by a text object on screen (which resets to zero each level) and one that isn't displayed which never resets, allowing you to display that number at the end of the game, or when the play dies all of his players.

Yea but i want to learn the save and load variables so that i could have a load game button, instead of a level select. and theres supposed to be money that you collect by selling the jewels and then you can have your name or something on a highscore thing.

The Loadvars feature seems ideal for loading games/information.. I think Sparky made a demo of this feature...
